Sarah is the rare combination of artist and entrepreneur. As a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design she came to New York to work as a fashion designer. After years of working in the industry she founded Life:Curated, a beloved Brooklyn boutique that thrived in the community for eight years. Now, she is helping other small businesses like Quiet Town, grow.
Chances are, if you’ve reached out to us over the last year, you’ve met Sarah.
Sarah’s curtain is inspired by her family’s summer house located on Lake Wawasee in Syracuse, IN. The house has been in her family since her great-great-grandfather bought it in 1921.
In keeping with our zero-waste efforts at Quiet Town, Sarah used canvas remnants from our production and tirelessly appliquéd them to the curtain, manipulating the canvas to move like water.
Machine wash on cold. Tumble dry. Edges of applique may fray through laundering so wash only when necessary.
