Samantha Hahn is a New York-based illustrator, art director, author and founder of an all-rainbow art shop called Maison Rainbow. She is currently working on illustrative columns with The New York Times & New York Magazine’s The Cut.
“[They] are the purest manifestation of color in nature. Rainbows deliver prescription-strength chromatic medicine for the soul. In a time of gray skies, we need to fill our eyes with rainbows more than ever,” says Samantha.
This particular curtain was made using a mix of textile paints and house paint. Both mediums are fabric-permanent but a liner is required to maintain the quality, color and stave off mold.
During the time of creation, Samantha was sheltering in place with her husband, 5 year-old daughter and 10 year-old son.
