Gianluca Franzese is an Italian-born American artist who has lived and worked in San Francisco over the past 19 years. The son of a jewelry maker and a pupil of the old masters of Italian art, he started painting early on, moving through realist, expressive, and narrative styles.
Gianluca’s curtain is inspired by a series called the “Alphabet”. This work is a depiction of Tech Modernism and a reflection of today’s cultural trends and changes that, over time, become constant in our lives.
”The pattern itself is a deconstruction of what we know today as the modern English alphabet. It contains all the shapes, curves and lines needed to form the letters that have evolved over thousands of years to become the symbols we recognize today," says Gianluca.
Please use a liner when showering with this curtain. Spot clean only.
(and a little note of self care from the artist: Stick together while we are apart. We will all heal.)
